The Bertolini BTR 550 crawler truck is powered by a Honda GX 160 engine that delivers 163cc and 4.8 HP. This model of crawler truck is equipped with a six-speed gearbox, four forward and two reverse speeds.

The BTR 550 crawler truck operates with an oil-bath gear transmission. It offers manual unloading and is capable of carrying a load of up to 550 kg. It has a minimum turning range of 700mm with a dumping angle of 50º.

This crawler truck has a steering with independently controlled releases and brakes. In addition, the truck's drive structure has been developed from army tanks. It comes with brakes with automatic expansion and cut-off.

  • Hydraulic due to the use of oil.
  • When the machine gets full of debris it is more prone to failure.
  • Practical and functional with good maintenance when needed.
  • First time use requires an oil change in a maximum of 40 hours.
  • The engine has a small oil pump which communicates with the clutch device and lubricates it and makes it work. When this oil is full of debris, the system will stop working and start to fail.
  • In the case of poor maintenance the machine starts to fail. The warranty does not cover the damage so it will be necessary to take it to the workshop and have it done by a professional.
  • In certain points of the machine there could be oil leaks.

Multi-disc dry clutch Bertolini

  • Simpler and more mechanical system and the clutch with brake and a force multiplication system without DHS.
  • This machine is less prone to failures

It is mandatory for the customer to check oil and grease levels before start-up !
