Power tiller Bertolini 401S

The power tiller Bertolini 401S has an Emak K800 OHV engine that provides a power output of 5.7HP-4.2kW.. It includes manual electric start . This model of power tiller offers two speeds, one forward and one reverse.

It also offers an independent P TO of 1004 revolutions per minute. In addition, the 401S model is compatible with 50cm cutters and 4.00-8" wheels. It weighs only 75 kg.

This power tiller from Bertolini also features an oil-bath gear transmission and a dry disc clutch. It has an adjustable handlebar in all directions mounted on shock absorbers.

Difference between the oil bath clutch of other brands and the dry multi-disc clutch from Bertolini

Oil-bath clutch brake (Other brands) Disadvantages

  • Hydraulic due to the use of oil.
  • When the machine fills with debris it is more prone to failure.
  • Practical and functional with good maintenance when needed.
  • First time use requires an oil change in a maximum of 40 hours.
  • The engine has a small oil pump which communicates with the clutch device and lubricates it and makes it work. When this oil is full of debris, the system will stop working and start to fail.
  • In the case of poor maintenance the machine starts to fail. The warranty does not cover the damage so it will be necessary to take it to the workshop and have it done by a professional.
  • In certain points of the machine there could be oil leaks.

  • This machine is less prone to failures
