The Belflex BF270 SC-M band saw works with a single-phase electric motor that generates 1.5 horsepower. This power is transferred to the saw making it work at 72 mpm.

In addition to this, the band saw features head lowering and its corresponding manual or hydraulic lowering selector as well as a dual-circuit cooling pump.

When the cut is finished, the Belflex BF270 SC-M band saw stops automatically. In terms of certifications, the machine complies with CE standards.
