Power Tiller Attachments
Power tillers have a wide variety of attachments for a wide variety of uses for those in farming or gardening. Those uses range from plowing the soil to cutting down unwanted plants. Some of these tools are plows to till the soil, cultivators to turn the soil and make planting easier, weed cutters to cut grass, tillers to make furrows in the soil, trailers to transport materials or tools, and mowers to maintain the lawn. Below we explain in more detail the different accessories for power tillers:
Plows
Power tiller plows are used to prepare the soil for seeding and remove topsoil. Plows are divided into disc plows and moldboard plows. Disc plows consist of a set of discs that rotate as they move cutting and breaking up the soil. This type of plow is best for compact soils. Moldboard plows divide and lift the soil creating a trench and cooling the soil. They are suitable for soft soils.
Cultivators
Cultivators for power tillers are an attachment used to loosen the soil, with the intention of improving soil quality and softening it for easier planting work. This type of attachment can be used for large plots of land or for small areas such as a garden. Cultivators have various shapes of blades and tines. Straight blades to cut roots, curved blades to lift and mix the soil or tines to loosen the soil and break up the hardest areas of soil.
Brushcutters
Brushcutters for power tillers are used to clear and maintain large areas of uneven ground where it is difficult to use a lawn mower easily. The operation of a brushcutter consists of a head that rotates at high speed thanks to the power of the power tiller. These accessories can be found in different sizes and types of heads, such as nylon threads, blades or chains, depending on the type of work to be done.
Cutters
Tillers for power tillers are an accessory used to prepare the soil for sowing. Their main use is in compact soils thanks to their ability to break up the soil and allow the penetration of water, nutrients and air circulation. The cutters are made up of spiral-shaped blades that rotate at high speed. These blades come in various shapes and sizes depending on the required depth and soil type.
Trailers
Power tiller trailers are used to transport materials and tools in fields, gardens and other places where a power tiller is used. Trailers consist of a load platform that is attached to the power tiller by a hitch. The size and capacity of the trailer varies according to requirements.
Mowers
Power tiller mowers are used for mowing large areas such as farmland, parks and residential areas. This attachment attaches to the rear of the power tiller and are equipped with blades that cut the grass to the desired height. Mowers are available in different sizes and working widths.
Power tiller attachments are great tools necessary for those who work in agriculture or gardening. Choosing the right attachment and using it correctly will improve work efficiency and productivity.
